Salt Lake Community College Motorcycle Rider Training Program is a public, open-access, comprehensive motorcycle rider education provider, serving the motorcycle riding community in Utah. Its mission is to provide quality lifelong learning in motorcycle safety to students of diverse cultures, abilities, and ages, while fulfilling the needs of community and government agencies, businesses, and the motorcycle industry, using curriculum established by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and the State of Utah.

We offer a wide range of motorcycle training classes to suit everyone from beginners to experienced riders. Our training classes are offered in a number of different formats, including Utah's only class for Women Only.

Beginning Riders

If you are brand new to riding, coming back to it after a long hiatus, or looking for a refresher, this is the course for you!

Experienced Riders

This is a one-day course with riders on their own bikes, held entirely on the riding range.

Advanced Riders

Ready to take your riding to the next level? This course focuses on cornering, braking and swerving.

Returning Riders

Designed for a rider with previous experience and/or an individual who has been riding a motorcycle on a permit for some time.

3 Wheel Rider

This course covers exactly the same fundamental skills as the Basic RiderCourse, but on 3-wheel motorcycles.

Private Lessons

If you want the ultimate experience in motorcycle training, we offer private lessons that are tailored to your specific needs.
